SASO certification of lead-acid battery

      All lead-acid battery imported to Saudi Arabia must be accompanied by a certificate of conformity referred to as "CoC, to prove that the product conforms to the corresponding standard and requirement.

The SASO CoC is mandatory for goods clearance and consignments, without CoC or not conforms the requirements of the Conformity Assessment program,the goods will be rejected at destination.

Scope of product testing:

1.Lead-acid battery SASO certification:

car starting with lead-acid battery SASO certification；fixed type lead-acid battery SASO certification； small valve-control sealed lead-acid battery SASO certification；traction with lead-acid battery SASO certification； gel battery SASO certification； sealed battery SASO certification； UPS power supply SASO certificate.
2.Mobile phone battery SASO certification:

lithium ion battery SASO certification；lithium polymer battery SASO certification； nickel metal hydride battery SASO certification；nickel cadmium battery SASO certification,；lithium battery SASO certification；
3.All kinds of disposable batteries SASO certification:

alkaline zinc manganese battery SASO certification；lithium manganese battery SASO certification;Galvanic SASO certification； dry cell SASO certificate.

Testing standard:

1. The auto start lead-acid battery:：GSO 34:2007； GSO 35:2007;

2. The battery： GSO1472:2002；GSO 1471-2002GSO ；IEC60086;
3. The nickel cadmium battery：GSO IEC61951-1:2007
4. The nimh batteries： GSO IEC61951-2:2007
5. The lithium battery： GSO IEC61960-2013；GSO IEC62133-2014;
6. Small valve-control sealed lead-acid battery： GSO IEC/TR 61056-14
7. Traction with lead-acid battery： GSO IEC60254-1-2014；GSO IEC60254-2-2014;
8.Stationary lead-acid battery:：GSO IEC60896.11-2014；GSO IEC60896.21-2014；GSO IEC60896.22-2014;
